Viva La Revolution Cantina is St John’s newest Mexican restaurant and promises to be full of fresh ideas & fresh ingredients & fresh menu items.
start with devoting 25% of the value of the restaurant being distributed to the employees in the form of profit sharing, with the option for staff to reinvest into ownership shares. According to the majority owners and creators of this new restaurant, Barbara and Michael Barry, Viva La Revolution will strive to empower shareholding employees to participate in the creation of the standards of excellence in the restaurant, and thereby add value to the operation. How refreshing!
start with locally grown greens and locally sourced fish. Everything is made in house: made to order corn and flour tortillas, inventive truck stand tacos, Mexican favorites (enchiladas, chile rellenos, fajitas, tamales) plus the traditional combination platters. The menu will, of course, include of tequilas, served in flights, as margaritas or in pitchers for the table that can be paired with the extensive taco menu. They will even have gluten free options, featuring super foods.
And, additional good news is that their price point is pretty reasonable!
